Name and Shame
I decided that I was a bit hungry and since I didn’t want to cook, I’d go to the Burger King at Markhiya. (That’s an area where they need proper roads and turns because it’s a bit chaotic).
As I was about to pull into the drive through, two punks (Qatari guys) driving on the wrong side of the road, accelerated, cut in and went in front me. To be honest that isn’t what annoyed me, it was the fact that as he turned, he looked at me and gave me an ‘in your face’ smile. So I shook my head in disbelief at this disrespect, opened my window and said, ‘you’re mother must be ashamed’. He gets out of his car with his friend as if he’s going to fight and I get out, look at him and say in a cool tone, “If you think what you did was right, fine, but it’s now the call to prayer (the athan was in the background), and if you’re that hungry, I’ll gladly buy you a burger.” They look at me puzzled and without saying a word.; They get back into their car.
(This was all in arabic of course).
Anyway, it was a sand brown old Patrol with an Al Rayani sticker on it. License plate 205206. Disrespect needs to be named and shamed
