Usually I’m a relaxed individual in certain situations, but today I’m fuming. After entering a round about, a blonde woman in her black Pajero, entered from the right while I was half way through. She was in the center lane and tried to turn left. Then she had the audacity of honking at me as if I was wrong!
I looked at the police man on the round about and made gestures as if to say ‘Look at her!’. At that point I rolled down the window and said “Are you blind? I was coming in from there and she just turned into me”. He smiled and shrugged his shoulders as if to say “Ah well, that’s life”. WTF?!
The weather is so fantastic today. Going to go around sports city and enjoy the day. Crystal blue skies, the sea smells great, such great temperature. It says 29c on the gage but it feels like 22. What a great day.
What’s an assumption? It’s probably the most powerful tool any individual can use against a person; that-is-to-say, you can say something without really saying something, then deny it because you never said it. Phew, what a mouthful. A smart person would use the old saying “To assume only makes an ‘ass’ out of ‘u’ and ‘me”. It’s true. If you’re left assuming something, it would be better to ask if that’s what someone meant.
Alright, enough with that. What I’m leading into will hopefully be clear by the end of this blog post but one thing I’ll shed light on now is, this is about Barack Obama.
Assuming, (yes here it is), that Barack has Muslim ties, his name probably stems from the Arabic word Baraka which means Blessings. (Also see the saying “Barack Allah Feek” meaning God Bless You).
Barack is indeed a Blessed person after reading a bit about his history but his past life isn’t what I wanted to talk about. I’m hoping that he’ll be able to bring Blessings to the world so it’s his future that I care about. It’s sad, but to some it’s comforting, that the US has become so influential that we look to the same country that caused certain problems for a saviour. It’s the equivalent of getting shot in the face by a stranger, then hope he’ll take you to the hospital….. It’s also the same as thanking them if he’s done it.
After being so annoyed with Lexus since they made my car look older than Jeremy Clarkson’s hairstyle, I decided to go take it for a full clean. Yep the works. I had to clean the arm rest of my car because the leather is so soft that it seems to get smudged by white thobes.
After trying to take a short cut after going to the Teyseer post office (on airport road), I ended up in what looked like a car haven compound. I found a petrol station, waxing centers, washing garages and so on. So before doing a u-turn, I thought I’d just ask how much it would cost and book an appointment.
In the past in Bahrain, Jaguar had mistaken my car for a giant fish and doused my car in an oily substance which the claimed would protect the leather from the sun, but I’m sure they tried to fry it.
It’s been a pretty tiresome few months for me. A friend of mine said that I’m spreading myself thin. I knew I was. I’ve always been that type of person. Do as much as possible and to the best of my ability. I hardly do things for myself it seems. Now and then I’ll splurge on something as a kind of gift, however I don’t go over board.
I’ve been feeling an immense amount of pressure because I feel that it’s my duty to be the best that I can be. I want to stand out and learn as fast as possible for work, I need to give attention to my personal life, attention to my family, work on my various business interests, help my father with his duties, search for a job for my other half, and I get tons of requests for assistance from people that really do need my help.
I was brought up in a home where 99% was not good enough. I’ve lived with that and I accept it. I push myself as much as possible. The way that I see it, I need to do whatever I can while I’m still young.
My goals in life? To travel the world, start a family, and start an empire to make my family proud and make Qatar a better place.
Article 19 of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights which the Qatari Government is a signatory of states:
Everyone has the right to freedom of opinion and expression; this right includes freedom to hold opinions without interference and to seek, receive and impart information and ideas through any medias and regardless of any frontiers.
The Emiri Decision Number 86 of the year 2007 on the establishment of the Doha Free Information Centre marked yet another step towards establishing a State of rights and freedom of speech. The decision stipulated that the Centre be a non-profit organization, headquartered in Doha City, and have the authority to establish other affiliated centres inside and outside Qatar. It is worth mentioning that His Highness the Emir issued a decision in 1998 annulling the ministry of information, giving birth to a new era of freedom of speech where censorship was removed from local media.
