However, while I was of your opinion on the first in the past, I have since changed my mind. 

The airlines continue squeezing in more and more seats and give us very little space. If the person in front of my reclines fully and I don&#039;t, I will end up with perhaps 20-25 cm in front of my nose. That is inhumane and the only fix is that I recline as well. 

I think that the act of reclining should be done gently, giving the person behind me enough time to react and perhaps rearrange his tray. For extra courtesy, you can verbally notify the person behind, but I don&#039;t think that should take a form of asking permission.</description>
