Where am I?

Hey there everyone, just a quick post. I know that a lot of people loved all the blog posts I used to make, but I just don’t have the time to do what I used to do anymore.

I’m Snapchatting, posting content on ILQ, hosting shows like QTips and RaqamiTV, and there simply isn’t enough hours in the day.

If you’d like to see a bit more about what I do, maybe follow me on social, then you can find me here:

ILQ sponsors Fiesta Pinoy 2010

I really appreciate the Filipino community in Qatar. They work hard, they’re fun, they’re friendly, and they’re amazingly social!

So when one ILQ’s supporters told me that they wanted to spread some ILQ love, it was my pleasure to give them some support! I’m definately going to try and make Fiesta Pinoy 2011.

A few photos:

Don’t forget that ILQ is sponsoring David Guetta’s event which is today!

Big stuff! Enjoy some fun, freebies, and more!

Art Dog Day in Doha

So ILQ sponsored the Art Dog Day and the Fur Ball that happened some days ago. It was so great to be a part of a fun event! We’re taught in our faith, that it’s important to treat all of God’s creatures with respect.

Let’s look at the concept of Halal for example (no I’m not encouraging eating your pets! Relax!) The reason why we have Halal food is because it’s a human way of killing livestock. So it’s funny how someone can go and kick a cat, but then ask for a Halal burger. Ah well, I digress!

If you were one of the attendees, you could have picked up some ILQ freebies, like one of these Beachballs!

RedBull Double Kick

Interested in some fun on the beach? Well Red Bull in partnership with Vodafone and support from the InterContinental and are bringing you a fun event called Double Kick.

Teams will be competing to scores goals on the beach and the fancier the trick, the more points the team gets.

Besides that, there’ll be food, drinks, music, and some fantastic ILQ and Vodafone freebies!!

‘We’ love Qatar

And here you go!’s teamed up with Vodafone for another fun event to make Qatar a happier place. What better a team than two companies who just want to make Qatar a better place! In fact, I think it’s quite suitable for me to use this japanese smiley face —>   ^_^

So for today, at the W hotel and Marriott, all guests will be greeted with a rose and a message from our hearts. On the 18th of February you’ll find ILQ and VF on the Corniche and at the Pearl. So come and claim your rose!

I wonder how many people will be able to take some awesome shots since there are so many photographers in Qatar. – Live Love.

Freedom of Expression

Article 19 of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights which the Qatari Government is a signatory of states: Everyone has the right to freedom of opinion and expression; this right includes freedom to hold opinions without interference and to seek, receive and impart information and ideas through any medias and regardless of any frontiers.

The Emiri Decision Number 86 of the year 2007 on the establishment of the Doha Free Information Centre marked yet another step towards establishing a State of rights and freedom of speech. The decision stipulated that the Centre be a non-profit organization, headquartered in Doha City, and have the authority to establish other affiliated centres inside and outside Qatar. It is worth mentioning that His Highness the Emir issued a decision in 1998 annulling the ministry of information, giving birth to a new era of freedom of speech where censorship was removed from local media.
